Turn Scraps into Soil Gold: A Hands-On Composting Workshop

Ready to transform your kitchen scraps and garden waste into black gold for your soil? In this interactive four-part workshop, you’ll learn how to create rich, living compost that restores your garden, boosts plants health, and allows us to join in nature’s cycle of renewal.

Together, we’ll explore a fast, effective composting method that produces nutrient-dense compost in just 18 days. You’ll see each stage of the transformation—from raw scraps to rich compost—and gain the confidence to repeat the process at home. Each session combines practical demonstrations with insider tips, making composting simple, rewarding and fun.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll know how to:

  • Choose the right balance of “greens” and “woody”materials
  • Add just the right amount of water
  • Monitor heat and moisture like a pro
  • Master the turning process for faster results
  • Troubleshoot common composting challenges
  • Recognize when your compost is ready
  • Use your finished compost to enrich your soil and grow healthier food

This workshop is more than a class—it’s an experience. You’ll get your hands in the pile, share the process with others, and discover how small daily actions can make a big difference for your garden and the planet.

Join us, and learn how to give back to the earth that feeds us—while creating the healthiest soil you’ve ever worked with.

Participants receive a certificate of completion and a bag of compost to take home (1cuft)
